Hello!
With over two decades of experience in sustainable design, education and expert knowledge in healthy builder materials, Leah Lasani is now available for speaking engagements.
Leah's journey from commercial design and architecture to becoming a holistic sustainable residential designer began with a move to the West Coast of Canada to become a yoga teacher. This reiterated her commitment to holistic wellness, both personally and professionally. For over a decade, she has dedicated her research, practice and education efforts to prioritizing both human and planetary health by incorporating principles of biophilic design and communicating the benefits of non-toxic interior materials and finishes, in our built environment. Through her practice, research, and education efforts, Leah is not only enhancing the well-being of individuals but also contributing positively to the planet and nurturing environmental consciousness.

Leah has a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from TMU (formally Ryerson
University), a Master’s Degree in Sustainability from University of Waterloo (Thesis: The
Current State of Green Building Standards and Interior Materials; Are These Processes
Leading to Stronger Selections of Sustainable Materials?), and a Certificate in Healthier
Materials and Sustainable Building from Parsons School of Design (The New School).
Leah has written exams for professional qualifications including the LEED Green
Associate, WELL Accredited Professional, CIDQ and is a Registered Interior Designer
in Ontario (ARIDO).
Leah's expertise in sustainable design and healthy building materials, developed over
decades of practice, research, and education, is incredibly valuable in today's built
environments where environmental consciousness is increasingly important.
Leah is a proficient public speaker, educator, and designer, and happy to connect!
